You know, there is the walnut cake made in the kitchen of our grandmothers, which are so light that they can almost fly, with only nuts both in the dough and cream. Do you remember it? Well, this is exactly the same. From grandma’s supply, we put (almost invisibly) golden apricot jam in the cake, only as much is needed to reinforce the walnut flavor.
